Trial & Getting Started
Can the free trial be used on any class?
Yes, the free trial can be used on any class.
What should I bring or wear to my first class?
Just sports clothes, a sports T-shirt and sports shorts, like something you'd wear to go jogging. For boxing, gloves are provided, but you'll need hand wraps; disposable Garden Gloves are available for RM4/pair if you don't have any. Not needed for BJJ.
Do you lend gis or gloves for trials?
Yes, equipment is lent for trials and new students. A gi isn't required for your first day.
Do I need prior experience or a certain fitness level?
No prior experience or fitness level is needed, just make sure there's no medical condition that would prevent rigorous physical activity.
Is there a minimum age for adult classes?
Adult classes are 16 and up. Two exceptions: a 6-year-old can move into Kids if assessed as ready during their free Tots trial, and a Kids-age student under 16 who is over 50kg can join Adult class early.
Do members need to book in advance?
No advance booking needed, members can just walk in.
Membership Admin
What payment methods are accepted?
Membership payments are via auto-debit. The first payment can be made by transfer, QR, or cash.
Can I join on the spot after my trial?
Yes, just let the admin know after your trial and they'll get you set up.
Can membership be paused or frozen?
Yes, for travel or injury, for up to a maximum of 2 months.
What's the cancellation policy? Any refunds?
No refunds on 3-month or 6-month packages.
Does the RM50 drop-in cover all classes that day?
Yes, it covers all classes that day, not just one.
Does the 10% student discount apply to 3/6-month packages?
Yes, the student discount applies to any package.
Kids & Tots
Which fee applies if my child attends both Tots and Kids?
Tots and Kids are priced the same at RM199/month, so there's no conflict either way. Kids join the class matching their age, except a 6-year-old can move into Kids if assessed as ready during their free Tots trial.
Can parents stay and watch kids classes?
There's a waiting area, though space is limited, and there are F&B spots nearby. We gently discourage parents from staying to watch, as it may hinder a child's learning progress.
Is the free trial available for kids and tots?
Yes.
Private Training
Which coaches offer private training?
Alistair and Colleen. Sessions are scheduled directly with the coach.
Does the 10-session package expire? Can it be shared?
It's valid for 1 year and can be transferred to someone else. There's also a 2-pax option: training with a partner adds 30% to the session price, split between two, e.g. RM325 total for two instead of RM500.
Gear & Facility
What gear does each program need?
BJJ Gi classes need a gi, though not for your trial. Muay Thai and other striking classes need boxing gloves; if you don't have hand wraps, disposable Garden Gloves are RM4/pair. Mouthguards are optional for all classes.
Does the gym sell gear on-site?
No gear for sale. Water is available, and Garden Gloves are provided for RM4/pair.
